Very good hestel, beautifull common terrace, clean. I had a great time. The "free walking with the locals" tour was funny and it was a good way to meet people from other hostels.
Dinner and pubs tour are expansive.

Cats Hostel exceeded my expectations. It was clean, tidy, and had excellent facilities. The spacious room had a private bathroom and a balcony with a stunning view of the cathedral. The bathroom had two toilets and two showers, both with great water pressure and temperature. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the bar upstairs had a fantastic vibe. Although I couldn't enjoy the terrace due to the rain, I heard they host amazing parties there. The location was excellent, with convenient access to the metro and buses, making it easy to explore the city. The comfortable bed was a bonus, too. I definitely recommend this hostel for a memorable stay.
Can recommend this hostel.

The location was incredible (in close proximity of Sao Bento train Station) and made viewing different parts of the city very easy and accessible. The staff were very willing to help and one felt that if anything was needed they were able to help you get it or discover where to find it.
There were a few things I didn't like but perhaps I'm comparing this hostel to other phenomenal ones I have stayed at. Individual lockers were provided yet one has to have their own lock (if not you can buy one for 5 euros!). They also charge you 5 euros for a towel (they do give 2 euros back when you return the towel). These little things add up and seem just other ways to make extra money (with other means they created too) and not necessarily ways to accommodate their guests. I personally don't like ensuite bathrooms (when staying in a dorm) because I felt I was disturbing people who were sleeping when I showered early in the morning. The lighting in the rooms and the hostel were also dim and didn't make the energy of the hostel any warmer.

1. Good location - convenient for everything 2. Easy to find - close to Sao Bento Metro & main line station (walk up the street on the right hand side of the station, turn left at the top and the hostel is on the right before the road forks - 5 mins) 3. New hostel with excellent bunks with lights, curtains and fans 4. Great terrace and views from dorms at front 5. Enthusiastic and helpful staff (who speak english)
1. The kitchen is maybe a little small for a hostel that can accommodate in excess of 100 guests 2

The hostel is in a great locations near the Cathedral, the staff are very friendly and didn't mind us rolling in at all hours in all sorts of shapes, the rooms excellent and the 5 Euro all you can eat lunch is tremendous value for money - one day I can clams with pork, a beer and an espresso! Would definitely stay here again.

Interesting interior design, friendly personal. Good wifi coverage.
No table, no chairs in the room. For quite tall people it's impossible to sit on lower bed. 3 euro for just using their towel ! (plus 2 eur deposit).

Privacy, for you have curtsins at our beds Very very compti beds A kitchen, open 24 hours to cook, oven and microwave includet, also a free food sector. When people check out, they can leave it there for the others. Extremley nice idea! The bathrooms in the rooms look like from a 4 star hotel , in beautiful colours : ) The staff is verynice, everyone in it's own way. Even the ones that suffered the nightshift always had a smile for us. There is an elevator, a beautiful roof terrace, a big fishtank, i had a balcony in my dorm room and a hairdrier is given too. It was freaking awesome there, best hostel in porto, thats for sure. The breakfast was nice too, everything you need, if you want some fruit you have to bring your own then ( you can do that at the cute little indian shop right next to the hotel)
